- We went over the exercises assigned last Thursday, exs 5,6,9 & 10 pgs 181-184.
- Students were given the four sentences that they will have to know for the written part of the test on Tuesday. they need to have these done by tomorrow, so I can check them, and they can study them for the test.
- 4th, 6th 7 7th hour were assigned exs. #12 7 13, pg 186. These are due tomorrow.
Written sentences for test:
- You will have to say FOUR complete sentences on each of the two prompts below:
Below are just some examples. You need to write your own version.
1) one sentence with estar + emotion and say when you feel that way.
Yo estoy feliz cuando saco una buena nota = I am happy when I get a good grade.
2) One sentence with acabar + de + verb to say what you just did
Yo acabo de sacar una buena nota. = I just got a good grade.
3) One sentence with venir + de + place, saying where you have come from
Yo vengo de la clase de español. = I am coming from Spanish class.
4) One sentence with what you and your friends like to do together. You must begin it this way:
A mis amigos y a mí, nos gusta bailar. = My friends and I, we like to dance.

Write your version of the four sentences above.
Test:
- The next chapter test will be split into two days: Listening and reading comprehension on Monday, Apr 30th, Grammar, writing, and personal questions on Tuesday, Apr 30th.
- Students received the study guide today, and we will be spending the week reviewing this short chapter.
- Students continued with their flash cards for their new city words. They will have a quiz on these in a few weeks.
- If they finished, they continued working on their cities.
