viernes, el 7 de octubre

Spanish I:

  • Today all Spanish I students had their first Spanish lab experience.
  • We used the online workbook for our text books En Español, and students did three listening activities, similar to the ones they will have on their chapter tests.
  • They also had time to do reading comprehension exercises and grammar exercises.
  • There are 24 activities that they can do to practice for chapter tests. They should try to do these at home since they did not have time to do them all today.
  • They should also try to retake any if they made a lot of mistakes, and see if they can do better the next time.

Homework:
  • Students need to take two online quizzes, print them out, and turn them in by next Tuesday, October 11th.
  • If they do not have internet access, I can email them upon request.
  • I asked students in class about access to the internet, and gave them paper copies if they told me they had no internet access at home.
  • If their printer is not working, they can simply write down their answers on a piece of paper and turn them in to me.

Extra credit homework:
I passed out worksheets for extra practice for the chapter test next week. These worksheets are not mandatory, but they will help students who want to get a good grade on the test. We will be doing these activities together on Monday in class.

Test reminders:
The first chapter test is next Tuesday, October 11th. Students in 2nd period will have this test on Thursday, since they have MEAP on Tuesday, and the Fun Run on Wednesday.
