- Students began a project on the family. They can make a family book on paper with illustrations or photos, or they can make a power point.
They need to describe their family with an adjective (big, small, nice, etc).
- They need to give their parents and siblings' names.
- They need to pick three family members (parents, siblings, or other family members), and
give their names and ages, and describe their looks and personality.
Examples:
- Yo tengo una familia ___________ (adjective)
- Hay cuatro personas en mi familia.
- Mi padre se llama .... Tiene .... años. Es alto y simpático.
There is no due date yet for this project. Students will work on it next week, and after the Thanksgiving break.
- Students continued working on their commercial skit. The rough draft is due tomorrow. and they will act them out in class on Friday, Monday and Tuesday.
Quiz:
- The 1.3 quiz (part 1) is this Friday. Tomorrow we will go to the lab to practice the words.
3rd Grade Spanish:
- Students finished their Day of the Dead projects, while watching Spongebob in Spanish.
- Next week we will work on learning how to describe the weather.
