martes, el treinta de octubre

Spanish I:

  • Students went over the descriptive adjectives in the 1.2 vocabulary.
  • They had listening comprehension activities from 1.2.
  • They began a project describing themselves. They will be turning it into either a diamond poem or a rap song that they will present next week. They need to pick 7 adjectives that describe themselves, and 2 that do not. Students will work on these this week, and they will be due next week.
Diamond Poem example:
Soy Francisca
En general, yo soy
divertida y muy cómica.
A veces soy perezosa y desorganizada.
Yo soy baja y bonita.
No soy ni atlética
Ni fea.
¡Yo soy yo!

Rap song example:

Yo soy divertida.
Yo soy cómica.
Yo soy baja.
No soy atlética.

A veces soy perezosa,
Un poquito tonta.
Soy simpática
¡Soy estupenda!

3rd Grade Spanish:

  • Students worked on an art activity for the Mexican Day of the Dead holiday, and learned its significance. They also watched a video on this holiday.
