Spanish 7:
All Spanish 7 classes invented a family tree, gave everyone a name, and answered questions on the family members, using the following vocabulary:
el padre = father
la madre = mother
el hijo = son
la hija = daughter
el hermano = brother
la hermana = sister
el abuelo = grandfather
la abuela = grandmother
el tío = uncle
la tía = aunt
el primo = boy cousin
la prima = girl cousin
They had to write a sentence about each family member. For example:
Alicia es la abuela de María.
We will review this exercise during the next Spanish class. Spanish 7 have a vocabulary quiz on all the vocabulary during their next Spanish lesson. They need to be able to recognize the Spanish word, and say what it means in English.
