Spanish I:

• Students received a mini English grammar lesson on the parts of speech. We identified pronouns, nouns, verbs, adjectives and adverbs in English. I explained the function of each of these in the English grammar.
• We began to go over the midterm. Tomorrow students will be fixing their mistakes on the midterm.

• Students had the second part of their midterm. 
• On Monday, January 28th, they will have the last part of their midterm: the speaking part. They will pick two of the 20 questions at random. 

3rd grade Spanish:

Spanish I:

• Students began the midterm today. Part I was mostly writing and conjugating verbs, as well as a listening section. Part II tomorrow is mostly multiple choice, as well as a reading comprehension, a written portion, and a listening comprehension. The oral part is on Monday, January 28th. Students have a list of 20 questions, and they will randomly pick two to answer orally.

Midterm:

• The Spanish midterm will be given on two days, on Wednesday, Jan 23rd and Thursday Jan 24th. The oral questions will be given on Monday, Jan. 28th, and will be part of the midterm.

3rd Grade Spanish:

• Students had their test on the days of the week.
• After this, they continued working on their month booklet.
