jueves, el diecinueve de abril

Spanish I:
  • We went over yesterday's exercises.
  • We began how to use "acabar de" to talk about something that you have just done.
  • Students were assigned ex's 9,10& 11 pgs 184-185. These are due tomorrow.
Grammar Lesson:

  • Using acaber de
Acaber de is used to talk about something that you have just done, in a very recent past. You need to conjugate "acabar" according to who is doing the action, then add "de" and then add the infinitive verb of what was just done, and do NOT conjugate this second verb"

Yo acabo de comer. = I have just finished eating.
Nosotros acabamos de beber. = We have just finished drinking.
