- Students went to the lab today and practiced their 2.3 vocabulary, for the 2.3 quiz (part 2) on Thursday, March 21st.
- Students received the new 2.3 (part 2) packet worksheet, either yesterday or on Wednesday. It is due Thursday, March 21st.

- Today is the first time I have the 5th grade class in almost a month, because of holidays, snow days, and the 5th grade camp.
- We reviewed how to write the date, and I collected the homework that was assigned before the winter break. They will get a new homework sheet due next Friday.
- Students worked on a number worksheet.
- In a few weeks time, they will have a test on the days of the week, the months, and numbers up to 31.
Spanish Calendar vocabulary
Giving the date in Spanish:
1) Remember that days of the week and months are NOT capitalized.
2) The order of the words is different in Spanish:
The number comes first, and the month comes last.
Example:
Hoy es martes, el veintiséis de octubre = Today is Tuesday, October 26th.
(Write out the number word e.g. “veintiséis”, not 26)
